How do we find out if your idea could work? We break the concept down into simpler sub-systems. We highlight the key features and functions, and we look for cheap ways to test fundamental  elements of your solution. This is often accomplished by using off-the-shelf microcontrollers, hardware, and sensors. We prototype basic firmware programming and electronic circuits. We capture features through CAD design and 3D printing. We iterate on ideas- working through the inevitable issues that arise. We employ mechatronics principles to holistically consider all aspects of your solution- from mechanical, to electrical, to controls, to programming. This mechatronic approach will give you the best chance of success in the development of your idea.

Work may be in the form of a benchtop fixture that is capable of functioning like your end product, or it could be a complete functional prototype built from off-the-shelf components and 3D printed parts. Deliverables can range from CAD files to firmware to hardware Bill of Materials, to Requirements documents.
